You can now update your twitter profile location directly from the phone. If you have a GPS phone you can submit your GPS data which can be translated into a address by the twibble server (“reverse geocoded”). It works like this:

  • start twibble
  • start GPS and wait until it says GPS in the title
  • go to ‘Update Profile Location’
  • select ‘Geocode and update’

If everything works well you should see your location in your twitter profile settings. Of course you can submit your position without using GPS as well.

In addition, twibble now displays locations sent by twitteriffic on the iPhone (those weird looking Strings in an users twitter profile: “iPhone: 53.584930,10.000259″). And finally it should run properly on the Nokia N78 (thanks again @nicksak!).
