the new twibble desktop with drag-and-drop uploading is available for download! It has

  • automatic updates (re-)enabled
  • video upload to Mobypicture
  • search added to tabs
  • bit.ly url shortener

and some bug fixes. You can grab it from the twibble desktop page.

twibble desktop is no longer available, I’m afraid (http://www.twibble.de/twibble-desktop). Current installations of 0.5.3 beta probably will stop working once twitter has switched to oauth by mid August.
