N97 firmware 11.0.021:
-location funktioniert nicht (scheint gps garnicht zu aktivieren)
-twibble ist fuerchterlich langsam. dauert 2..3 sekunden bis nach dem
druecken auf “menu” auch wirklich das menue erscheint…..

twibble mobile on S60 V5 devices
The latest beta 0.9.21 of twibble mobile should run on S60 V5 devices including Nokia N97 or 5530 with touch screens.
If you have any trouble running Java apps you might want to try out the latest Java Virtual Machine from Nokia Labs. You probably also want to set twibble's application settings like in the pic above (in "Application Manager"). This avoids the on screen keyboard and annoying confirmation dialogs to access the network etc. Also install the latest firmware on your phone.

mal die erwähnte neue Java Virtual Machine probiert? Java-Anwendungen scheinen sonst recht langsam auf dem N97 zu sein …

in der tat, die neue java-virtual-machine wirkt wunder. sogar gps geht jetzt 
dafuer ist der telefonspeicher jetzt bis auf 4.5mb belegt
was hat sich nokia gedacht als die so wenig telefonspeicher eingebaut haben ???????? 1gb phone, 32gb daten waere ok gewesen. nicht ~100mb phone die zu 80% von vorne rein belegt sind
könnte man nicht die beiden softkey’s (menu + hide) nicht etwas groesser machen, z.b. doppelt so hoch wie sie aktuell sind. so ist das ein gefummel besonders wenn man das geraet im auto in der halterung stecken hat und dann mit dem fingernagel treffen muss

Hmmm… sieht so aus als bräuchte ich auch ein N97… wenn sogar Twibble drauf läuft!
